Another lovely June wedding ceremony took place this morning in the Cathedral of Saint Francis when Miss Margarita Delgado, daughter of Deputy Sheriff Alfredo Delgado, this city, became the bride of Frank V. Ortiz of Mexico City, Mexico, formerly of Santa Fe. The Rev. Father Eligius Kunkel, O.F.M. officiated, celebrating a nuptial mass. During the service there was special music, Miss Mary Sena singing "Child Give Me Thine Heart" a favorite hymn and the choir singing the "Ave Maria". The wedding marches were played on the organ by Miss Gerrish. The bride looked charming in a gown of lace over white satin with a white veil fastened with orange blossoms. She carried a silverlace bouquet of Ophelia roses. The maid of honor was Miss Josefita Valdez, who was attired in a gown of orchid crepe de Chine, with hat to match and she carried an arm bouquet of roses. There were three bridesmaids. Miss Frances Tafoya, in pale yellow crepe de Chine, wearing a corsage bouquet. The best man was Conrad Valdez. After the wedding a breakfast was served at the home of the bride on Dunlap avenue. The bridal couple leave this afternoon for Mexico City where they reside. The bride is a member of a prominent Spanish family, and she is a graduate a graduate of Loretto academy. She is a talented and charming young woman who has a host of friends here who will regret to see her leaves Santa Fe. The bridegroom is an energetic and efficient young businessman, who studied here and in Albuquerque and has traveled. extensively in Central and South American countries. He is the export business in Old Mexico."
